There's a tightness that arrives with the years — skin that pulls when you smile, looks flat in the morning, feels thirsty no matter how much water you drink. It isn't in your head. It's your skin losing the molecule that holds water in place.

Picture the first morning it feels different. A few drops into damp skin, and the tightness lets go — your face softer, fuller, comfortable in itself rather than stretched and parched.

This serum won't turn back the clock, and won't pretend to. It gives your skin back its ability to hold water — so it can feel soft, comfortable, and like itself, all day.

Product Description

What it does, and what it doesn’t

Your skin still produces moisture. What it loses with age is hyaluronic acid (HA) — the molecule that binds water and holds it in the skin. As it declines, the water you put on simply evaporates instead of staying. This serum puts that hyaluronic acid back, using four molecular weights of HA that work at different depths, so hydration is held where mature skin needs it most.

The reason mature skin feels tight, looks less plump, and reads as dull is rarely a lack of water in the room. It’s that the skin’s own hyaluronic acid — the molecule that holds water in place — declines steadily with age. The water arrives. It just doesn’t stay.

This serum does one thing, and does it properly: it restores that water-holding capacity. Most hydrating serums use a single weight of hyaluronic acid, which sits on the surface and little more. This one uses four. Each molecular size behaves differently — the largest forms a moisture-binding layer at the surface, the smallest reach into the upper layers where surface products never go. Together they hydrate at more than one level instead of one.

It’s worth being clear about what this serum is not. It is not a retinol, a peptide treatment, a firming cream, or a brightener. It won’t rebuild collagen or fade a dark spot, and we won’t pretend otherwise. It is the hydration layer the rest of your routine sits on — the step that lets everything applied after it work on comfortable, cushioned skin instead of tight, thirsty skin.

Fragrance-free and paraben-free, water-based with no oils, and it absorbs without residue. Nothing in it that doesn’t earn its place.

The Femme Botanicals Standard

  • Made for 60+, not adapted for it. This formula was built around how mature skin actually behaves — thinner, drier, slower to hold moisture — not borrowed from a younger line.
  • Every claim traceable to the formula. We name what’s in the bottle, and we don’t dress it up with ingredients that aren’t. If a benefit isn’t in the jar, it isn’t on the page.
  • Fragrance-free and paraben-free. A deliberate choice for skin whose barrier is thinner and more reactive than it once was.
  • Support, not correction. We formulate for the skin you have now — to keep it comfortable, cushioned, and like itself — not to chase the skin of thirty years ago.

Ingredients

The Four Weights of Hyaluronic Acid

Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer

A cross-linked form that stays at the surface and forms a moisture-binding mesh. It holds water in place longer than standard HA, smoothing the look of the surface as it hydrates.

Sodium Hyaluronate

The standard-weight salt of hyaluronic acid. It draws water to the surface for immediate softness and a fuller, more cushioned look.

Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate

An acetylated “super” form of HA with greater affinity for skin. It adheres better and holds its moisture longer where it’s applied, so hydration lasts through the day.

Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate

The smallest fragments in the system. Their low molecular weight lets them reach the upper layers of the skin, hydrating below the surface rather than only on top of it.

The Supporting Humectants

  • Glycerin — a time-tested humectant that draws and holds water in the skin.
  • Propanediol — a lightweight, naturally derived base that improves absorption and adds its own hydration.
  • Pentylene Glycol — supports hydration and helps keep the formula fresh and stable.

Full Ingredient List: Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentylene Glycol, Xanthan Gum, Sorbitan Oleate Decylglucoside Crosspolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin.

How to Use

Shake well. After cleansing, apply a few drops to slightly damp face, neck, and décolletage. Allow to absorb, then follow with your moisturizer to seal the hydration in. Use morning and evening, before any sunscreen or makeup.

What Makes Us Different

OUR FOCUS IS ON WOMEN — OUR COMMITMENT IS TO HER SKIN

Mature skin deserves more than products designed for everyone. Femme Botanicals was built specifically for women who know the difference — between ingredients that perform and ones that merely promise. We deliver what mature skin actually needs: deeper nourishment, renewed resilience, and results you can see and feel.

This isn't skincare adapted for you. It was made for you from the start.

Benefits of Botanicals

Our formulas thoughtfully combine botanical nourishment with advanced skin science to support skin that has evolved beautifully over time.

  • Hyaluronic Acid (Multi-Weight System) A moisture-binding molecule naturally found in the skin. Helps replenish hydration at multiple levels, supporting plumper, more resilient-looking skin.
  • Collagen Support Complex While topical collagen hydrates and softens, our approach focuses on supporting the skin’s own collagen pathways for long-term vitality.
  • Retinol (or Advanced Retinoid Complex) Supports visible smoothness and encourages healthy cellular turnover — helping refine texture while respecting mature skin when properly formulated.
  • Peptides are short chains of amino acids that signal the skin to support firmness and elasticity. Biocompatible and gentle, peptides help reinforce the skin’s natural structure.
  • Ceramides Essential lipids naturally present in the skin barrier. Help strengthen, protect, and reduce moisture loss — especially important as skin becomes thinner and drier.
  • Vitamin C (Stabilized Form)
Provides antioxidant protection while supporting brighter, more even-looking skin tone — without aggressive irritation.

Together, these ingredients reflect our philosophy: botanical-forward, science-backed, and formulated to support — not fight — the natural aging process.

QUESTIONS

No. There is no added fragrance or essential oil in this formula — you can confirm it on the full ingredient list above. For mature skin, where the barrier is thinner and more reactive, that’s a deliberate choice, not an oversight.

After cleansing, before your moisturizer and any sunscreen. Apply it to slightly damp skin, then follow with a moisturizer to lock the hydration in. Morning and evening both work.

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant — it pulls water toward itself. On damp skin it draws from the moisture already there; on bone-dry skin in dry air, it can pull less effectively. A light moisturizer on top locks everything in. It’s a small step that makes a real difference in how the serum performs.

It hydrates — and well-hydrated skin looks plumper, softer, and smoother, so fine dryness lines become less noticeable. But this is a hydration serum, not a firming or anti-wrinkle treatment. If structural firmness or wrinkle depth is your goal, that’s a different product and a different mechanism, and we’d rather tell you so.

Yes. Because it’s pure hydration with no actives of its own, it layers comfortably under or alongside most routines — and it can make stronger actives more tolerable by keeping skin hydrated.

No. It’s water-based with no oils, absorbs quickly, and leaves no residue.

It’s the hydration foundation, not the whole routine. On very dry or fragile skin, apply it to damp skin and always follow with a moisturizer to hold the water in. Used that way, it’s one of the most comfortable steps you can add. Check our other products to help you complete your routine.
