Why I Made This
At 70, I wasn't willing to just accept what the skincare industry was giving me anymore.
I'd reached a point where my skin had clearly changed — less bounce, more dryness — and instead of being supported by the products I was using, I felt targeted.
Everything promised to fix me. Everything came with a luxury price tag. And somehow, everything relied on scent to do the convincing.
I remember opening one expensive cream — a beautiful box, a heavy lid — and realizing the jar inside was so small it felt like a joke. That was the moment it clicked. I wasn't paying for skincare I was paying for marketing.
